Simon said - it was going to be some taxi trials but if it felt right he might take it for its maiden. Without further ado he opened the throttle and it came hurtling towards me and then it was off the ground - would I get a haircut as it headed towards me!!! So much for taxi trials...

I have had a parkzone p 47 for a while and i love it. Its cool to see that it has similar flight characteristics. I feel that the fairly thin yet large wings make it have less drag than one expects.
That was a superb 1st flight. I find myself flying it with more vertical turns. It looks so cool in a dive.
