Just arrived this afternoon as Paul was leaving but he kindly came back and video'd a couple of my new toys. The first one is a Schloiderding DLG, a 1.2m all wood kit I built (rudder & elevator) and the second one is a Hawk, a 1.0m all carbon DLG (ailerons, flaps, rudder & elevator). Still to perfect launching!
Your more than welcome enjoyed watching them flying :) both flew gr8. That lil hawk wow that went up like a lil rocket... Think u may have to load your videos differently i can't open them :( you download them to utube first then post the link ;) was good few hours fun :)
Richard, the Hawk is from Hyperflight, with servos & battery £310 (airframe £175). The nose area is tiny and you really have to 'trim' everything to get it all in. I had to remove the case off the RX, remove all four servo plugs and trim the leads. Tiny 150ma Nimh RX pack. It is very slick and the launch shows it.

Sorry, its difficult for my little brain. Anyway I have now uploaded to Youtube and the videos now play.
Looking good were did they come from I like the Hawk looks like got some lift as well .
Amazing how long they stay aloft with no thermal action. Can see why they are popular.
