New Catalina Soon To Take To The Air

After the demise of my old Hobbyking Catalina Jan got me the new Dynam version - bless her.
After painting (it was plain grey) and the mod to the outrigger floats I felt I should share the idea I originally used on the old Catalinato good effect.
See Video. Regards Peter.

Hi Paul. This one is a lot heavier after all that paint I put on but it should still float!
Recon the flying speed will be higher due to the weight of the paint I have put on...
So Puddle Jumper 2 soon takes to the air - I hope.

I look forward to seeing Catalina Pete and perhaps can fly the Twinstar around with it in formation? I must admit I started with the Twinstar when I first joined the club 11 years ago so it's becoming a bit of a yawn but at least it's a test bed for my first set of 2.4 gear.

In all the years I've never see a float plane take off at Barton's Point, look forward to seeing yours on the lake...
