You are a good o'l brick Pete! Should become an ornament in your workshop. No doubt we will use it in the weight box. Nice afternoon's flying. Light winds....for a while. Back to normal gales for the foreseeable future though. Time to work on the famous weight.
I have to say my bubble burst when I could not pass on "The Brick" but at the moment it's taken up residence in the boot of the car earning its living by stuffing my MPG...🚗 I have emailed the Tate Gallery (modern) but although they have loads of expensive rubbish they call art they don't want "The Brick". Looks like it will continue to reside in my car for the foreseeable future till the counterweight steel box is constructed...😡 We can the hold a ceremony to insert "The Brick" in its final resting place.😊 Such are the trials a tribulations of being a ✈️ Model flying club member (sob, sob)...🔚
Just checking to see who looks at the comments... So as a bonus read this... Two blondes were flying to Miami from Cleveland. Fifteen minutes into the flight, the captain announced "One of the engines has failed and the flight will be an hour longer. But don't worry we have three engines left".
Thirty minutes later, the captain announced "One more engine has failed and the flight will be two hours longer. But don't worry we have two engines left".
An hour later the captain announced "One more engine has failed and the flight will be three hours longer. But don't worry we have one engine left".
One blonde looked at the other the other blonde and said "If we lose one more engine, we'll be up here all day" Regards Peter
SOooo - Good news. The brick will shortly have a home to go to. I am so pleased as he will be able to be near a lot of other bricks who can keep him company.I was getting so worried for his sanity and well - being. Looks like it will all be over before too long with a bit of luck. Still only you and me Paul...
Well Paul it just goes to show that you have no idea - Put something up on the Blog like "we need help" and no one reads it - Say that cars can't drive on the field as its too wet and they say they done read the blog... So it often falls on deaf ears. Now we have a few more comments shown some may think whats that all about and click on it to find out and then I could get a reply... Perhaps ...
Well i don't think thats the case i think i was right they are reading the blogs otherwise why would the field on one of the best wends this summer hot and no wind at all great flying conditions yet no one came down to fly! Would have been great to watch while we were digging ;)

Nice pics Peter. We had a good afternoon's flying, Sheila did well and enjoyed flying with very low wind.
Perhaps you could put said brick on E-Bay.
