It's Very Fast.

After leaving the field it was my turn to play - a new toy I have had for over a week was dying to be tried out - this was my chance.
Chance to use the plane batteries for something different and a little bit bigger than our club field puddle. Great value.

Very well designed boat Pete as it is obvious it is made to withstand the problems associated with salt water. As you know last year my friend Paul and his son sailed a 30 plus year old KK Terrier torpedo boat on the same water. I had made the boat for Paul when he was a young lad. I was handed the boat after it's long voyage to do the necessary maintenance. Everything seemed OK but a couple of weeks later corrosion had ruined the motor, the battery holder and on/off switch. Fortunately there was no radio control installed. It just indicates that the salt water adjacent to the flying field is unsuitable for most types of model boats

Hi Mike.
Stainless steel fittings and a waterproof hatch make this boat ideal but you have to ensure you lube the flexi-drive and just run fresh water through the water cooling system when you get back home - no big deal - A lot of fun. Amazing boat. £95.

Lovely boat Pete. Im surprised it didnt get caught in all the blanket weed thats in that lake. I put my boat on there and it got snagged straight away, i had to wade in after it lol.

Hi Trev - The power of this thing means no weed would stop it with the brushless motor and the rudder and skid fins are sharp so would cut it before it could get caught up. Honest its one hell of a mad beast...
