At last got my chance to fly from a puddle...
A great plane to build and fly. Will take off from Water, snow, ice, short grass so I recon I got the weather covered now.
Your dead right Dave - anyone else buying a Catalina? Also recon club should now invest in a couple of floating yellow bath ducks to advise pilots where the bog is. (No not a toilet a bog type bog).

Flies nice and smooth. In the summer we'll bring a large blow-up paddling pool.
Colours are good, on closer inspection your landing site is actually a bog!
