Sopwith Camel - Bad Landings Mods.

Lots of you will have seen the bad landings exhibited with this model - The Hanger 9 Sopwith Camel - others have tried to land this model as well but to no avail... On looking around a number of U.S. forums it was clear other people had also experienced the same problem with this model.
After examining the planes actions on landing I decided to make two modifications and I am pleased to say this plane is now a different model - which you can land fast or slow...
This video shows the modifications to this kit and also the landings done over two days as proof they work.
I now have NO dent in my pride.

Nice work Pete,it seemed there was a gravitational pull on the lead weights when positioned above the engine which acted on either wheel causing angular force/motion proportional to the distance of the weights from the wheels? With the new location of the weights closer to the wheels and at low level relative to the fuselage there appears to be no angular force / motion present and hence the plane does not tip up on landing.

Who agrees?
