Raffle Prize

The RC Hotel Corfu have offered Bartons Point MFC. A weeks holiday (Bed & Breakfast) for two as a raffle prize. The Club is going to be selling tickets for this great gift (price yet to be set) the sale of tickets will be available to Club and BMFA Members so tickets shall be sold to pilots at this years fly in Spectacular and the draw will also be made at the fly in. Also for this season the first 5 members of Bartons Point MFC. Who book to stay with The RC hotel will have a 100 euro ( aprox 70 pounds) voucher which can be spent while you are there. No cars are to drive onto the field at this stage.  The field still needs to be looked after.  Enjoy your new field.

Good News We are hoping to get the field rolled this week coming, the weather conditions are looking very good.

Brass Wheel Collets

Hi all.
STUCK. Need 4 brass wheel collets with fitted grub screws - to fit a 6.03 mm U/C axle shaft.
Tried drilling out the 5mm type but there is not enough "meat" left for the grub screw to bite and the thread strips. Needs to hold very firm...

Hows Our Flying Field Getting On ?

Hi all. Felt the flying field was worth a visit to see how things were coming along. Although there is a lot of water around I can report that the field work has been a great success because for a start the main area is not flooded like it always used to be - its draining off into the side ditches as it should - they are full. 
The main feature is IT IS VERY FLAT INDEED and once its rolled and the grass is cut it will be a dream.Will see you all soon - Peter.
