Blackburn Monoplane 1912
I have waited a long time for this plane to come down to the flying field again and today I was rewarded - however I only had my old camera to hand... The Blackburn Type D, sometimes known as the Single Seat Monoplane, was built by Robert Blackburn at Leeds in 1912. It is a single-engine mid-wing monoplane.
This model has the full wing warping system which works very well indeed. A very majestic model in the sky with class...
