Be careful if you use the wooden bridge by the parking bays
halfway down to the lake. It’s perilously slippery. Yesterday I was walking to
our field, I crossed the bridge and just as I started to go down the ramp my
foot completely slipped away (it’s really damp and greasy). Unfortunately I had
my flight box slung over my shoulder and I had a model in either hand. I fell
completely backwards onto my flight box and my ribs took the full force of the
fall. I don’t know how but when I landed I was still holding both models and by
some Christmas miracle they were undamaged, I’m very grateful for that as one
of them was my Snipe. God knows how I didn’t break any ribs but I’m in agony.
Take care!
