  1. Will this mean we can use our gate... or will it mean we won't be using ours for a while yet?
    Have fun Paul ;)

  4. There are some big dips and holes right at the entrance to the events field - it's a mass of ruts. The ruts are fron the last bodged repair as the fair on the last visit put down bark chips into the deep holes their vehicles made - the bark chip pings have now gone soggy and now it's a total mess. It won't get repaired properly as usual. Every time it gets worse till there will be no access to the events field. That time is not far off with the heavy circus and fair vehicles....
The problem will go away when the events field can no longer be rented out.

  6. There's us being all good and careful and then this is allowed. Who ever is responsible should fix it. The Council should harden up the two entrances and access paths/tracks to accommodate the circus. Hope they get truly stuck when they leave. Glad I have 4 wheel drive now.

  10. Ford Edge will be available in the Autumn this year so should hopefully get one next year. In the meantime, my Ford S-Max has AWD and I am installing (with help of my butler) an underslung mower mechanism which I can lower from inside the car. That way I can mow coming in and going out of the field as well as the pits. Neat!!
Sorry I could not be at the field today. Seems really nice now. When do you all think the ground will firm up enough for us to bring the cars in?
