Slope Soaring - Detling

I have already emailed the people who expressed an interest from the last trip out to Detling a few weeks back - looks good for Sunday if your interested but if you want to share / be informed just let me know and things can be arranged... I have one seat left in my car now so be quick if you want to come... Peter

  2. Hello its me thats coming it aint gonna be that good with me at the sticks ;) be great fun and a good larf though :)
    Oh had reports from my dog walking friends and family of cow pats on the field so if u brave enough to fly at the field after your soggy walk from the main gate take a few wet wipes with u ;)

  5. Pilot Bill is a few years old now but if you look on my channel and put in "pilot Bill" you will get a few up...
    Trev took over ownership of the Tiger Moth which was an easy plane to fly...

  12. Hi Roy. Really think you would enjoy this side of the hobby and the foam planes are so durable.- even I can't break them...
    It's good fun and the cost of a Zagi wing is nothing and lasts forever. To build one you only need to be OK at sticking on Parcel Tape...

  15. I've got a glider, to which I have added eilerons, ielerons, eilreonz.....wiggly bits on the wings. I am busy tomorrow, (Wednesday), but when are you going to be at Detling next? Roy

  16. No problems Roy. Ask Jan to give me your email address then I can send you out a notification with everyone else if that's ok. You have to give Jan permission to give me your details...
    So pleased you want to have a go but I have to say a Zagi won't break but balsa does...
    We have got the grandchildren this weekend but I may be able to get off Sunday afternoon and it looks right for Minster Cliffs.
    If you get onto Jan I can let you know - same goes for anyone else who's interested....Regards Peter
