Great fun good company thx Peter for uploading the video captured the afternoon perfectly :) Sorted out my lil cam so will be rolling and attached to model on next outing. Have fun Paul :)
Hi Paul. My flight cam - that big lump - was a waste of time on the plane and the added weight made it harder to keep up in the air in the low wind speed - so your camera will be great for the aerial shots. I do hope a few others will buy a Zagi and join in the fun as it works better with a group and we only have 5 for Detling but 6 if we go to Minster Cliffs... Every time I fly the Zagi I am amazed at its fantastic flight performance as it's truly a well designed plane which I have not known anyone to break as yet after witnessing hundreds of crashes (nice word for duff landings). Out of every plane I have ever had the Zagi must represent the best value for money - and it just don't break! Come on guys go spend £35 plus two crap servos and a Rx and a 4 cell battery and you can build this in an evening blindfolded. I posted a link for one on the other slope soaring video comments section. Come and have some fun when the wind blows...
Thanks Pete for re-trimming the Wildthing, I can't imagine how they appear to go out of trim?
So that I am prepared for lighter winds I must have another go with the 8 foot span Micro Mold Sprite but have to accept it will not be anywhere as controllable as the models we saw the other day with flaps and ailerons. Have you tried your Cularis off a slope?
I must also take a look at the Zagi in my loft with a view to flying it but somehow prefer the breakable traditional gliders.
Hi Mike. Glad the glider was fine once it was trimmed. Looks right for Minster Cliffs Sunday but we have grandchildren but Jan says I could go in the afternoon so will have to see how it goes so will let you know. Looks like Roy will join us as well so the total could now go up to 6. If we could all go at the Same time. Regards Peter
Yes lil cam defo getting stuck on the next time we go :) soz for late reply i typed a long message back last night must have bored myself with it as found my phone on on the floor beside the bed when the alarm woke me this morning ;)
