Here it is folks - and both days went to plan and the toffee's hit the field - Mr Blobby flew very well but Mr Noel Edmunds did not come and visit as we had hoped. Never mind as the children enjoyed it - look how fast they can run - great to do and fun to see...
ReplyDeleteWell done all those responsible for the management of the show you deserve much credit. It's amazing how the club's show has developed and lets hope it does not become an unmanageable dinosaur or that there are objections from other parties.
As such the show did a lot in my opinion to encourage the hobby to the benefit of all including the trade stands and other vendors.
All those kids are going to tell their school mates that did not attend so you can be sure of a bigger crowd next year which will put the Pied Piper out of business !
MJE
Well done Pete, the kids loved it
ReplyDeleteYou dont have to wait till next year to get the plane out again Pete,
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a Platoon of parachutists deploy, half of them carrying cheeseburger's and the other half carrying fries what do you think ?
Could be an idea.... I did buy some parachutes but as you had to tie each dam string yourself so 20x4=80 + tie onto body (20) so total is 100 knots...
ReplyDeleteEnded up throwing them away.
Knot worth the hassle...
Why dont you let them go with no chutes, hey presto freefallers.
ReplyDeleteAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH plop!
