I have not seen your kite,but don't tell you can fly it with no strings attached!
We used to make massive kites from black plastic bags that you could weld together with one sweep of hot iron. The plastic had to be set between two sheets of newspaper. There was a specific design with about 4no 3 foot garden canes as a frame. The kite was rectangular with 4 evenly spaced 4 inch holes at the bottom and a plastic bag harness---Anyone got this far?
